One of the airline industry’s most coveted honors – the Air Transport World Airline of the Year – has been awarded to Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA). It’s the second time in just five years that the country’s largest and only five-star airline has won the magazine’s top honor.
The ATW Awards, which began in 1974, recognize excellence in the air transport industry based on top performance, innovation and superior service. In recognizing ANA, ATW pointed to the carrier’s new advances “ … in customizing passengers’ needs at all stages of the airport experience, including the check-in counter, lounges and at the boarding gate.”
ATW will present the award at its 44th Annual Airline Industry Achievement Awards Ceremony on March 27 at The Mansion House in Dublin.
At PROS, we are deeply honored to serve so many extraordinary companies from around the world, including past winners of this high-profile award: Etihad Airways, Southwest Airlines, Air New Zealand and Emirates.
