Lufthansa Becomes First European 5-Star Airline

In the airline industry, there are a number of awards that rank global carriers across any number of categories. Among the most coveted of all are the Skytrax Awards, which annually assess carriers and their service rankings. The rankings are based upon a professional audit analysis of product and service standards, and each airline is rated using an international, unified assessment systems.

The Certified 5-Star Airline accolade was announced late last week, with 10 carriers winning this extraordinary achievement. At PROS, we’re proud to share that eight of the 10 airlines are our customers, including ANA All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Etihad Airways, Hainan Airlines, Lufthansa and Qatar Airways.

We also offer a special congratulations to Lufthansa, which became the first European airline to be 5-Star certified by Skytrax. Lufthansa has invested heavily in renewing its fleet and improving its inflight experience. Some of the criteria by which the airline was highly rated included its premium check-in facilities, onboard seat comfort and space, and overall staff hospitality. The improvements are strategic in the highly competitive European market.

At PROS, we say bravo to all of the airlines recognized in the Skytrax 5-Star Airline rating. PROS is committed to serving carriers around the globe as a dedicated partner in their success, and we look forward to celebrating another great year for all these airlines in 2018.
