BRF: Ingredients of a Successful Pricing Project

BRF's rapid growth led brought added business complexity with it; the enterprise's pricing systems came to include 10 disparate homegrown solutions.  The to time to complete price cycles grew to exceed two weeks with a global list of 200 million prices at 155 branches, which was far from optimal given that many of the company's products are perishable and needed to be priced accordingly.
