Revealing Insights from Gartner’s 2018 CEO Survey
This year's Gartner CEO Survey revealed important shifts building on the previous year. Growth remains the highest priority with challenges remaining which is limiting how it will be achieved. With, of course, structure, people and products remaining high priorities, technology is still seen as the tool to deliver “digital” strategic initiatives to drive growth.
Artificial Intelligence has the highest potential value of the five big new technologies, however, many businesses are struggling in realizing that value being stuck in the “trough of disillusionment”. The majority of businesses are likely to change their business models with digital revenue expected to grow particularly through the customer experience and new products.
